About the Acer Palmatum 'Saiho':
Variety: Acer Palmatum 'Saiho', Japanese Maple Saiho
Full Size: A vigorous dwarf that typically reaches about 1.5 metres high and 1.2 metres wide over time, forming an upright, compact, densely branched shape.
Foliage: Deciduous. Tiny chartreuse green leaves emerge in early spring with a bright purple red border, settle to green through summer, then finish with orange red autumn colour.

Why Choose the Japanese Maple Saiho?

Key Features:

• A premium dwarf Japanese Maple with very small leaves and an exceptionally dense habit, perfect for tight spaces and detailed planting.
• Striking spring flush, chartreuse green foliage with a purple red edging that gives instant colour without flowers.
• Highly regarded for Bonsai, it thickens up and develops character quickly for a more mature look in a shorter time.
• Excellent in pots and courtyards thanks to its naturally compact, upright form that stays neat with minimal pruning.
• Best in morning sun or light shade with protection from hot winds, particularly in warmer parts of Australia, to keep foliage looking its best through summer.
