Why Choose the Acer Palmatum Sieboldianum?
Key Features:
• A beautiful Japanese species Maple with a naturally balanced, rounded shape that suits feature planting and cooler climate gardens.
• Noted for its standout autumn colour, often starting earlier than many Maples and building through warm tones to strong reds.
• Spring brings clusters of small yellow flowers, followed by winged seed that add seasonal interest.
• Distinctive foliage texture with finer detail and soft hairiness on new growth, giving a slightly velvety look early in the season.
• Best in well drained soil with consistent moisture and shelter from hot drying winds, especially in warmer Australian positions.
